Corn Glycol Solar Thermal Transfer Fluid Released
Chesapeake, VA (PRWEB) August 26, 2008 -- Solar Panels Plus LLC today released a new corn glycol solar thermal transfer solution (http://www.solarpanelsplus.com/corn-glycol/) that replaces traditional propylene glycol for many solar energy applications. The SPP corn glycol formula has many advantages over traditional propylene glycol used in solar heat transfer applications and has been designed specifically for use in solar thermal systems for applications such as solar water heating, solar heating and solar air conditioning systems.
Compared to traditional propylene glycol, SPP corn glycol provides more efficient heat transfer due to various factors including its lower surface tension, and has a solar-optimal PH of 8.2. This makes it an ideal heat transfer medium in solar thermal applications. Freeze points, viscosity and other key metrics are about the same or better than conventional propylene glycol. Another of the major benefits of SPP corn glycol over propylene glycol is the fact it is a biodegradable and a completely renewable product, making "green" solar thermal applications even "greener".
The SPP corn glycol solution will begin shipping on September 2nd, 2008. It is available in 5 gallon containers, 55 gallon drums, and 265 gallon totes. The SPP corn glycol will be sold through the SPP national dealer network, and for areas without SPP dealers it will be available for sale directly through the SPP website at http://www.solarpanelsplus.com.

How Home Solar Panels Systems Work?
Solar panels system's working is all about photovoltaic technology. Solar panels are placed on the roof of your house in a way that they get maximal sunlight because the more sunlight they acquire the more electrical energy they can produce. Solar panels are generally made up of crystalline silicon and the one that are costly uses gallium arsenide for its construction.
What Are Home Solar Power Units?
When you think of solar powered homes you think of a home totally powered by state of the art expensive solar panels but that need not be the case Solar power is now becoming less expensive these days and is more popular than ever
The Home Solar Power System
There are some people who care for the environment and also care for their money These people are those who opt in for the home solar power system
A Brief Explanation of Solar Panels
There are several different types of Solar Panels available on the market today - and I do not mean just the different wattages of solar panels (of which there are hundreds, or more), but rather the different types of Solar Panels that are available. The main types include Amorphous Solar Panels, Mono/Poly-Crystalline Solar Panels, Concentrator Solar Panels and Flexible/Foldable Solar Panels. If you are not an expert in the Solar Energy Industry, it may be confusing trying to keep these different types of Solar Panels straight - but just read the article below for the basics about each of the 4 different types of Solar Panels available today.
Installing Home Solar Panels as a Drive to Help the Environment
Recent natural calamities that are happening all over the world have awakened people to the effects of climate change These events are no longer tales from the past
The Efficiency of Home Solar Panels: Factors That Affect It
When shopping for solar panels, there may be a need to become choosy Aside from the fact that they can be quite costly, bear in mind that having home solar panels may also be considered as an investment; people who invest know for a fact that it is important to invest in things that are considered as most valuable, therefore, selecting the right product is a must
Cheap Home Solar Panels: Reuse & Recycle To Save Money
While it's not difficult to find information on how to put together a cheap home solar energy system, many experts forget to mention an easy way to save even more money when you do it yourself. Salvaging used solar panels is a great way to build an eco-friendly home while recycling perfectly good solar equipment in the process.
